Explanations : rim conformities

Conforming (compatible with original vehicle) :

Steel wheels are compliant with your vehicle with no modifications required, such as lift kits and/or the addition of fender flares, as long as the manufacturer's specified tire size is not changed.

Please note that steel wheels are not approved to submit your vehicle for inspection. Your state department of motor vehicles will require you to remove them for inspection.

You must keep your original wheels with the original tires for inspection.

Our wheels are DOT certified, they do not come with a European certificate of conformity. Our steel wheels are made to be very strong for off-road use..

Non-compliant (requires modification of your vehicle) :

Steel wheels are not compliant with your vehicle because you need to modify some parts of your vehicle such as lift kits and / or adding fender flares, tire size different from the one specified by the manufacturer, reinforced bearings and / or axle and / or gearbox, transfer case etc...

Please note that steel rims are not certified to submit your vehicle for inspection. Your country's automotive department will ask you to remove them for the inspection.
