INSTALLATION SAFETY:
It is recommended to apply a drop of threadlocker when mounting wheel studs or bolts for the installation of wheel spacers.
The torque specifications recommended by the vehicle manufacturer must be respected. Nuts, bolts, and screws should be tightened in a crisscross pattern.
Locking nuts, bolts, or screws without using a torque wrench leaves doubts about the quality of the fastening. To ensure proper tightening and safety, the use of a torque wrench is recommended, as it is the only way to follow the manufacturer’s recommended torque. The use of an impact wrench is prohibited, in order to:
- avoid damaging wheels, screws, nuts, and bolts
- ensure uniform tightening of all nuts or bolts
- facilitate disassembly or make it possible using the vehicle’s original tools.
